The Carmichael Kiwanis Club will be holding its annual holiday See’s Candies sales event starting on Nov. 23rd and ending Dec. 23rd. The sale will take place in the H&R office (next to Starbucks) in the Bel Air shopping center complex at Fair Oaks Boulevard and Manzanita Avenue in Carmichael. The hours of operation are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Special pre-sale prices are available if purchases are made before Nov. 20^th.

All proceeds from the sales are utilized to support the visual and performing arts programs in San Juan Unified School District. To see how these funds support the jazz programs in the district, please plan on attending the Wayne Reimers Jazz Festival held at Rio Americano High School on Jan. 21^st, where jazz bands at the elementary, middle, and high schools will be participating in a non-competitive festival where they receive constructive feedback from professional adjudicators. You will be astonished by these incredibly talented young musicians!
