RANCHO MURIETA, CA (MPG) - The Rancho Murieta Country Club (RMCC) Women’s Golf Group recently held its monthly Charm and Putt competition. The nine-hole friendly competition was followed by a delicious plated lunch and monthly meeting.

At the Niner meeting, held in the delightful Terrace Lounge at RMCC, announcements were made. The RMCC Women’s Golf Club will be hosting the Niners for a social mixer coming up soon. Additionally, the Niners are currently in second place in River Valley Team Play. Captain Alison Gomez made announcements about RMCC hosting the final round of Team Play this month. At the end of the meeting, the winners of the Charm and Putt were also announced.

While the temperatures hit 100 degrees during play, the ladies persevered to complete the round. Splendid play ensued as the ladies battled it out on superb course conditions.

Patty Harris beat out the ladies with a net score of 32 on the front nine of the North Course, playing the ball down and hitting with consistency. Therese Yannuzzi was medalist with a 39, only three strokes over par. 

Tapping the ball into the hole only 15 times was Deborah Contini. The greens were running fast in the heat, and Contini used that to her advantage.
