Rancho Murieta Association: July 4 Schedule of Events

Pancake Breakfast – sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Rancho Murieta: 7 to 9:30 a.m. at Stonehouse Park.Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, OJ and coffee.
Advance tickets $6 (6 years and over), $9 at event.
Purchase tickets at rmkiwanis.org or RMA Building.
45th Annual Fun Run – sponsored by Erin Howard Bailey of Murieta Health Club.
Adults: 5K Run 7:30 a.m. at North Gazebo. Kids (10 and under): 8:15 a.m. at park across from North Gazebo. No prior signup required. Call John McNamee at 916-206-3246 with questions.
Parade down Murieta Parkway – sponsored by Rancho Murieta Association.
Lineup time 9 a.m.-9:30 a.m. at Murieta Parkway and De La Cruz Drive.
Parade starts at 10 a.m.
Parade Route: Begin at Murieta Parkway and De La Cruz, proceed down parkway, turn left on Marr Drive, loop behind the RMA building and back onto the parkway.
Residents with vintage cars must register with RMA.

Parade Rules:
No water guns, balloons, etc., or superballs. Candy is OK.
No commercial golf carts, walkers, vehicles, etc.
Non-resident vehicles are not allowed. Only individuals and local nonprofit groups may participate.
Only vintage (1975 or older) vehicles and local nonprofit vehicles are allowed.
Chairs and other belongings can’t be placed for the parade until 24 hours prior to the event. They must be placed behind the curb, not in the street or bike lane.
Music at the Gazebo – sponsored by Rancho Murieta Association.
Music and dancing from 7 to 9 p.m.
Fireworks at Laguna Joaquin (Front Lake) – sponsored by Rancho Murieta Association.
Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
No blankets in common areas prior to 7 p.m. July 3.
No plastic or tarps are allowed.
Escuela Gate will be not be used to exit after fireworks.
General Information
Guest Passes: get your 4th of July guest passes. Pick up passes Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the RMA Building. Mail or hand deliver to your guests in advance. Five free passes per lot, then $5 per pass. All guests must have a pass or be on a resident’s guest list. (Please also provide guests on your guest list with passes.)
Events limited to Rancho Murieta Association residents and their guests. Guests must be accompanied by the residents who invited them.
Laguna Joaquin: Golf carts must stay on the path around the lake. No parking on path.
