Security Logs: Aug. 22-Sept. 11

3:30 a.m., Welfare Check, Anillo 2 Park. Reporting party concerned their friend was attempting to drive after being dropped off. Subject’s vehicle located unoccupied in his driveway upon arrival.
8:12 a.m., Vehicle Accident: White BMW 320 made contact with the middle island of the resident lane, just missing the bollard.
Video footage was reviewed and middle resident lane was observed to have no damage. Driver of vehicle appeared to be OK as male subject exited after the incident to assess damage to vehicle. Administrative Sgt. Arino made contact with resident, who stated he was OK, just misjudged as he was merging over to the lane. Medical was not needed and no damage to property was observed.
Aug. 24
12:07 a.m., Trespassing: Vehicle at Lake Calero after hours. Vehicle departed upon arrival.
10:10 p.m., Burglar alarm for RMA maintenance yard. Alarm off and area clear on arrival. No sign of forced entry or break-in.
Aug. 25
1:16 p.m., Disturbance: Followed up with Village Management regarding an incident that occurred Aug. 24 around 3 p.m. during the Luau event that took place in the clubhouse. A resident entered the building, approaching a Village employee; a verbal altercation ensued over a billing issue. Both parties began pushing each other. Another resident got involved in attempts to mediate the situation, resulting in a physical altercation. The situation later calmed down on its own.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department was notified by initial reporting party and an incident number was provided to all parties.
No arrests were made and one person was later self-transported to the hospital for injuries in result of the incident.
Sept. 1
11:29 p.m., Alarm, Burger King: Company called stating audible alarm activated.
Alarm off on arrival and area secure.H
