RANCHO MURIETA, Ca (MPG) - The Rancho Murieta Pickleball Club hosts a Demo Day, gift basket raffle and fashion show fundraiser May 2 at the Stonehouse pickleball courts, where players try out paddles supplied by Courtside Tennis and Pickleball and enjoy a day of community activities. Becky Beer assembled more than a dozen donated items into raffle baskets, helping to generate more than $1,000 for pickleball court improvements and future courts, while a portion of apparel sales also supports the court fund, according to event organizer Sue McNamee. During the fashion show, more than a dozen club members and three dogs walk a green runway modeling pickleball apparel as Club President Alan Chase emcees and describes each outfit.
