Gold Rush Classic Returns for Seventh Year

RANCHO MURIETA, CA (MPG) - The Gold Rush Classic Celebrity Pro-Am Golf Tournament will return to Rancho Murieta Country Club for its seventh year on Aug. 6-7, featuring a day of golf, celebrity events and a public concert benefiting charities.
The highlight for many local residents will be the “Stars & Guitars” concert featuring The Cripple Creek Band at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7. The concert is open to the public. Tickets are $30. For tickets, contact Beth at 530-370-3416.
The two-day event also includes a $1 million hole-in-one contest, a celebrity skins challenge and a celebrity draft party before Friday's tournament.
Funds raised benefit Jordan’s Guardian Angels, Make-A-Wish, 1st Tee of Sacramento, Rancho Murieta youth sports and other community programs and children’s charities.
