RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) — The 56th Sacramento County Women’s Golf Championship took place July 25 to 26, at Mather Golf Course in Rancho Cordova, drawing top female amateur golfers from around the region.

Katherine Zhu emerged as the 2026 Sacramento County Women’s Champion, capturing the Championship Flight title with a score of 69/65/134, over Emily Guan with a score of 70/65/135.

Karen Garcia won the Senior Division with a score of 74/71/145. In the Senior Handicap Division, Vivian French with a 13 handicap claimed victory with a gross score of 135.

The Championship Flight featured golfers with a handicap index of 6.6 or less. Senior Flight players age 50 and up.

Tournament chairman was Linda Bigler of the Sacramento Golf Council.
