The Aug. 3 River Valley Times attached the wrong graphic showing a Water Vision Working Group matrix in a story about Rancho Murieta Community Services District’s Improvement Committee meeting. The matrix assigns who or what has responsibility for the district’s major water projects. The River Valley Times regrets the error.

The correct matrix graphic, above, was the group’s final reworking of the staff’s version. The staff version ran in the Aug. 21 issue. The main difference was a description of Well 7, a proposal from Dunn Engineering to explore for new well sites using developer fees to pay for it. The board rejected the proposal 3:2 earlier this year.

Board members also voted 3:2 to disband the Water Vision Working Group at its Aug. 26 meeting. The matrix was left in limbo. The 3:2 vote at both meetings comprised Board President John Merchant and Directors Linda Butler and Bill Gere voting yes, with Directors Randy Jenco and Tim Maybee voting no.
