RANCHO MURIETA, CA (MPG) - River Valley Times reporter Gail Bullen is recovering from serious injuries suffered in an Aug. 29 bicycle accident in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Bullen fractured her left collarbone, five ribs, her pelvis and sacrum. After being hospitalized, she was transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation program in Medford. She has since returned home to Sacramento to continue her recovery.

Although her injuries have temporarily limited her ability to attend community events and take photographs, Bullen has continued to report and write remotely. Five stories that Bullen could not complete in time for the Sept. 11 print edition were subsequently published online.
