RANCHO MURIETA, CA (MPG) - Music Mike plays guitar and sings for children gathered around him at the Lake Clementia Amphitheater during the Kiwanis Club of Rancho Murieta’s annual children’s concert Sept. 27. The free event drew about 250 children, parents and other attendees, according to Roger Brandt. Familiar songs and movement activities kept youngsters engaged while their families spread out on the grassy slope above them. Rancho Murieta Key Club students assisted with the concert. In a Facebook post afterward, the Kiwanis Club celebrated the smiles and enthusiasm of children and parents alike, describing the gathering as a “picture perfect evening.” Photo courtesy Kiwanis Club
