Catch the bus from El Dorado Hills Town Center at 8 a.m. The bus will return to Town Center at ~6 p.m.
This new exhibition, "Art Comes from Art," features Thiebaud's self-described "art thief" interpretations (and sometimes even direct copies) of the works of famous artists, such as Manet, Morandi, and Diebenkorn, as well as objects from his personal art collection that inspired him. Not only does the exhibition explore one of the most important and overlooked aspects of Wayne Thiebaud's creativity – his passionate engagement with art history, many of the works in the show have never before been viewed by the public.
